“These monks have been the cause of death a lot of people,” monk Joseph stressed in an interview with “Vima of Orthodoxy”, adding that they themselves “advise people not to get the vaccine and that the coronavirus is a simple flu”.

Based on these statements, the head of the Thessaloniki Prosecutor’s Office requested an investigation to identify the accused monks and to determine whether the offenses of the deadly report and the spread of false news were substantiated.

As part of the investigation, the complainant will be asked to name specific persons and incidents in order to be prosecuted in turn.
