At the end of his general audience on Wednesday, November 13, Pope Francis warmly greeted thousands of pilgrims in St. Peter's Square, especially the young, the sick, the elderly, and the newlyweds, asking the Christian community to pray for the restoration of peace on earth.

This was reported by Vatican News.

The Bishop of Rome called on the faithful to “draw strength and courage from God daily to fully realize their human and Christian vocation.”

“Let us not forget about the countries engulfed in war. Brothers and sisters, Ukraine is exhausted and suffering! Let us not forget about Ukraine, let us not forget about Palestine, Israel, Myanmar and many other countries where there is war. Let us remember that group of innocent Palestinians who were shot dead. And let us pray for much-needed peace!” His Holiness urged and gave the faithful his apostolic blessing.
