Protestants to Hold ‘National Prayer for Ukraine’

The event will be held Dec. 14 in the church Christian Hope. Bishops, pastors, and ministers of all Evangelical Churches of Ukraine are invited to the event.

The Ukrainian Interchurch Council (UIC) will hold a “National Prayer for Ukraine,” reads the press release of the UIC, the site invictory.com informs.

“The event will take place in the form of prayer relay combined with deep worship and inspirational words from famous ministers of God,” reads the statement.

“We feel that Ukraine is in dire need of enhanced prayers by God's people. The Church of Christ should use its strength and the spiritual power granted by the Lord,” stress the organizers.

The Ukrainian Interchurch Council was created for churches of Ukraine to cooperate. Today, it brings together some 20 representatives of various associations of the Christian churches.
