Relatives of Ukrainian prisoners and missing persons meet with Pope

A Ukrainian delegation participated in the general audience on Wednesday, February 18, held in St. Peter's Square at the Vatican.

This was reported by Vatican News.

The delegation was accompanied by Andrii Yurash, Ukraine's Ambassador to the Holy See. It included representatives from various public organizations and foundations dedicated to supporting the families of missing persons and prisoners of war, including both military and civilians. The group consisted of relatives of prisoners and missing individuals, as well as those with personal experiences of captivity.

As previously reported, on February 12, His Beatitude Sviatoslav met with His Holiness Pope Leo XIV. The Head of the UGCC discussed the situation in Ukraine with the Pope and provided him with lists of prisoners.
