Relics of Therese of the Infant Jesus are Visiting in Ukraine

The relics of St. Therese of the Infant Jesus are staying in Ukraine from April 5 to June 10, 2010.

KYIVThe relics of St. Therese of the Infant Jesus are staying in Ukraine from April 5 to June 10, 2010. They can be venerated in all the Roman Catholic dioceses of the country. The relics have been brought from France on the invitation of the Conference of the Roman Catholic Bishops of Ukraine. The tour is being organized by the Carmelite Fathers from Berdychiv.

According to UNIAN, the relics are now staying in the Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul in the city of Lutsk.

On April 20 a Mass was conducted with the participation of pilgrims from the Volyn and Rivne regions under the headship of Ordinary Bishop of the Lutsk Diocese, Markian Trofymiak. St. Therese is the patron saint of the Lutsk Diocese of the Roman Catholic Church.
