A priest the Ukrainian Orthodox Church Kyiv Patriarchate, the monastery ringer Fr Ivan Sydor, who was ringing the bell for 4 hours when Berkut officers assaulted Maidan and saved activists, has written the book.

He says it on his page on Facebook, according to depo.ua.

"Soon my first book is to be published! Joyful experiences are mixed with excitement ... The book is based on rich historical material facts, witnesses, and on research of many Ukrainian, Russian and other foreign authors which analyzed preconditions, origins, patterns of occurrence of the Moscow Patriarchate in 1589. Exploring the question of formation of the Moscow Patriarchal Throne, I did not use legends, fables, false stories,  and tried to be confessionally unbiased. The book contains no GEF (genetically engineered food) and IMHO, only facts drawn from historical sources,” he wrote.
