RISU's 3rd Competition 'Our Sacral Ukraine' Completed

From August to October, 2011, a competition “My Sacral Ukraine” was conducted by RISU to draw the attention of the society to the sacral-cultural heritage of our land, to popularize religious tourism and to mark the 20th anniversary of the independence of Ukraine

From August to October, 2011, a competition “My Sacral Ukraine” was conducted by RISU to draw the attention of the society to the sacral-cultural heritage of our land, to popularize religious tourism and to mark the 20th anniversary of the independence of Ukraine. More than 20 works from 17 authors were submitted to the competition.

A few of them did not comply with the terms of the competition, according to which the materials were not to be posted anywhere, including printed and electronic mass media.

In addition to the printed materials, several videos were submitted for the competition.

The materials are being studied by the members of the jury, experts in regional history, tourism, and pilgrimage. They will select the winner and three laureats.

The results of the competition will be announced next week. The winners will receive presents from RISU and the partners of the competition.

As RISU reported, the partners of the competition are the Main Department of Internal Policy, Nationalities and Religions of the Lviv Regional State Administration, Public Project Tourisrt Marks, tourist company Vidvidai and the Missionary Publishing House.
