During Wednesday evening's attack on the capital, one of the Russian drones struck a residential building in Podil, causing damage to a synagogue.

According to Moshe Reuven Azman, the Chief Rabbi of Ukraine, a "shahid" drone flew very low and crashed into a high-rise building next to a religious site. The place of worship sustained damage both outside and inside. Windows were shattered, books fell from shelves, and valuable stained glass windows were damaged.
