A Russian military serviceman shot and killed a couple of Krishna devotees in the occupied Kherson region. The incident occurred on November 5th in the village of Nechaieve on the left bank of the Dnipro River.
As revealed by the ASTRA media outlet, neighbors discovered the bodies of local residents Tetyana Filenko and Serhiy Avdeyev in the yard of their house on 24th Street in the village of Nechaieve on November 5th. This information was reported by the Telegram channel "Christians Against War."
According to local residents, a day later, a 28-year-old Russian military serviceman named Oleksiy Kosenkov, stationed in military unit 12266 in the city of Kirovsk in the Leningrad region, was detained as a suspect in the murder. Kosenkov claimed to have shot local residents he did not know with a service rifle. The motive for the crime remains unknown.
The victims were identified as Krishna devotees, and their bodies were found in their home where they held Krishna spiritual gatherings. It is also reported that the deceased couple provided volunteer aid to their neighbors.
