On Monday, November 18, the Church of the Nativity of the Mother of God of the UOC-MP was destroyed as a result of shelling in the border village of Hremiach.

This was reported by the website of the Chernihiv Diocese of the UOC-MP.

On that day, 14 explosions were recorded in the village (from an FPV drone, from 120 mm mortars, and an explosive device dropped from a UAV).

For 10 years, the villagers had been praying in this church, which was consecrated on October 2, 2014.

The prayer house, which had been functioning in the village since the postwar years, was destroyed by shelling a year ago, in the spring of 2023. On the same day, the church was also damaged - the blast wave knocked out the doors.

“Consequently, services are not performed in the village of Hremiach,” the diocese notes.
