Seventh-Day Adventists Begin Wider Evangelization

The Conference of Seventh-Day Adventist Churches in Podillia has begun a two-month program of wider evangelization titled "Maranatha: the Lord comes near.” According to an announcement of the Church’s press-service in Khmelnitskyi on 27 October 2001, the program began at a joint assembly of all the Adventist congregations in Podillia, in which about 1000 people took part.

Over a two-month period, dozens of Christians will conduct open lessons with the theme “New Life.” Before the new year, weekly programs will be held in large halls in Khmelnitskyi, Vinnytsia and Zhytomyr for those have taken this Bible course and other interested parties.
