Special Committee Set Up in Odesa to Return Institute of Ground Forces

The governor of the Odesa Oblast, Eduard Matviichuk, announced that a special committee was set up in Odesa to define the terms of return of the Institute of Ground Forces to the city from Lviv.

ODESAThe governor of the Odesa Oblast, Eduard Matviichuk, during a visit to the training buildings where the institution was formerly located, announced that a special committee was set up in Odesa to define the terms of return of the Institute of Ground Forces to the city from Lviv.  “Religion in Ukraine” reported this story on May 19, 2010.

“The president was addressed by Metropolitan Ahafangel in an open letter, the president’s administration and Ministry of Defense have set up the committee which is to return the institute to Odesa. For it is part of Odesa. It is Odesa’s pride. And without it the city loses a lot.  I can say that I am proud when I visit buildings like this,” said the governor.
