From the very beginning of the conflict between Ukraine and Russia, terrorists and ammunition were located in the churches of the UOC (the Moscow Patriarchate), in particular in the Sviatohirsk Lavra in Donbas.

The Hero of Ukraine, Major-General of the Armed Forces Ihor Hordiychuk said this during live broadcast on ATR, Channel 24 reported.

“In the first days of the war, I asked for permission to lead radio interception groups. We made several radio interceptions in Kramatorsk, Slovyansk, where the Chechen detachment of the special forces, Kadyrov’s units, were located in one of our most valuable shrines - the Svyatohirsk Lavra,” said Hordiychuk.

The Major-General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that confirmations were found from different angles. According to Hordiychuk, he brought evidence to the authorities, claiming that there were more than a hundred of terrorists with their weapons and ammunition in the caves.

This data confirmed when they set off checking all the churches of the Moscow Patriarchate. There were weapons, ammunition, equipment, militants, all these priests of dual purpose. They are like both priests and militants. Putin's army” said Major General.

He added that infiltration of Russian agents to the churches was carried out in advance. Hordiychuk noted that he viewed the churches of the Moscow Patriarchate as part of the structure of the FSB of Russia.

The Hero of Ukraine also stressed that the priests openly say that in Ukraine the allegedly “civil war” is evolving.
