Terrorists invited Patriarch Kirill to celebrate the Baptism of Rus
The separatists invited Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia at the celebration of the Baptism of Russia, which will be celebrated on July 27-28.
This was reported by RIA Novosti, with a reference to the so-called “vice-speaker of the Parliament of the people’s Republic of Donetsk” by Vladimir Makovych, Ukrainska Pravda reports.
“I’d like to invite the Patriarch to Donbass. As far as I understand, he cannot go to Kyiv, the relationship between Moscow and Kyiv does not allow that. So, inviting him to the ‘People’s Republic of Donetsk’ is a good thing,” said Makovych.
As you know, earlier the UOC-MP stated that Patriarch Kirill was not invited to the annual celebration of the Day of Baptism of Kyivan Rus on July 27-28.
In addition, he will not be present during the election of the new Primate of the UOC-MP to be held in Kyiv on August 13.
