During his working visit to Israel, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov took part in the Hanukkah candle-lighting ceremony in the square in front of the Wailing Wall.
According to Ukrinform, this is reported by the Embassy of Ukraine in the state of Israel on Facebook.
The Chief Rabbi of the Wailing Wall dedicated the ceremony of lighting the Hanukkah candle to Ukraine during the solemn evening ceremony of lighting a Hanukkah candle in the Square in front of the Wailing Wall, Rabbi Shmuel Rabinovich said a prayer and blessing of bilateral relations of friendship and mutual support between Ukraine and the state of Israel,” the report says.
The ceremony was attended by Ukrainian Defense Minister Reznikov and Ukrainian ambassador to Israel Yevhen Korniychuk.
