The Commission of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy has accepted the monastic cells and the Warm Church at the Lower Lavra of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra Reserve onto its balance sheet.

According to LB.ua, the Director of the Department of Cultural Heritage of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy, Mariana Tomin, announced this during a telethon.

"The commission had inspected and accepted the monastic cells and the Warm Church, which are located in the 43rd and 48th buildings of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. According to Tomin, these buildings were in satisfactory condition, unlike the 112th building, which was in a terrible technical state."

Tomin also noted that the commission had previously accepted several other buildings onto the balance sheet, such as the 44th, 38th, and 37th buildings. She noted that the 112th building was in a terrible technical state, while the other buildings, except for being cluttered with property belonging to third parties, were in proper condition.

Earlier, the commission of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy found signs of violations of fire safety and security conditions in one of the buildings of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.

On April 19, the commission showed the neglected state of the next three landmarks on the territory of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. In particular, the tenants did not take fire safety measures.

Previously, the police had opened an investigation into the destruction of a historical building by representatives of the UOC-MP on the territory of the Lavra. Currently, law enforcement officials are gathering evidence of unlawful actions.

The Minister of Culture reported that after the use of the historical building by the UOC-MP, it became unfit for use. The Commission of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy recorded the emergency state of the building, which is unsuitable for operation and has obvious signs of destruction.
