The Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew received on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, the Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine, Olexandr Mischenko.

During the meeting, the Ecumenical Patriarch once again expressed the Mother Church’s support for the people of Ukraine.

The outgoing Ambassador of Ukraine to Turkey, Vasyl Bodnar, attended the meeting, whom the Ecumenical Patriarch thanked for his cooperation during his time in Turkey and expressed his best wishes for his future service at the Embassy of Ukraine in Poland. Roman Nedilskyi, Consul General of Ukraine in Constantinople, and his deputy Andriy Boyko were present, as well as Grand Ecclesiarch Aetios, Director of the Patriarchal Office.
