Bishop Kenneth announced it on the official page of the Eparchy of the Holy Family in London, according to the official website of the UGCC.
"Given the situation with the coronavirus pandemic and the need for episcopal governance of the eparchy in London, it was decided to hold the enthronement on Saturday, March 21. According to the decision of the British government, clergy and invited guests will not be able to participate in the enthronement. The number of people present will be limited to ten," the Bishop said.
The Bishop has noted that he is aware of the importance and historical significance of the joyous event of the enthronement for the entire eparchy. In this regard, we invite everyone to unite in prayer by means of a live broadcast on the Facebook page of the Eparchy at the link: https://www.facebook.com/UGCC.GB/.
"I pray that the light of God will warm us during this troubled period so that it will remind us of the Resurrection, where we continue our journey during the period of Lent. This weekend, looking at His Cross, we will remember the suffering, death and victory over sin, which allows Him to be the light in our life," Bishop Kenneth encouraged everyone.
As we reported, on Wednesday, January 15, 2020, the Vatican reported that Pope Francis appointed Bishop Ken Nowakowski as the Eparchy of the Holy Family of the UGCC in London, transferring him from the new Westminster Eparchy of the UGCC in Canada.
