The hierarchs of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Canada to hold the memorial service for Heavenly Hundred

16 - 20 February the delegation UOCC led by Metropolitan George (Kalishchuk) visits Ukraine.


They plan to meet with religious and political leaders of our country. Ukrainian Orthodox bishops of Canada also plan to visit the Independence Square (the Maidan) in Kyiv and to celebrate the memorial service for Heavenly Hundred (more than 100 protesters killed on the main square of the Ukrainian capital).

The delegation includes head of the UOC in Canada Metropolitan George, Archbishop of Winnipeg Hilarion, Bishop of Edmonton Andrew, and Bishop of the Diocese of Eastern, as well as priests and lay people. The clergy of Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA will also join Canadian bishops.
