This was stated by the leader of the Crimean Tatar people Mustafa Dzhemilev on one of the Ukrainian TV channels, reports UATV.

According to him, the construction is financed by Turkey. At the moment, a plot worth about $5 million has already been allocated.

”This temple is not only for Crimean Tatars, but also for all Muslims, " Dzhemilev said. He added that it will be the largest mosque in Ukraine.

Now in Kyiv there is one large mosque Ar-Rahma, which was opened in 2011. It is designed for 2 thousand Muslims.
