One more state of the USA joined in the recognition of the Holodomor as genocide of Ukrainians

The Senate and Assembly of the U.S. state of new York recognized the Holodomor 1932-1933 genocide against the Ukrainian people.

This is stated in the joint resolution to the 85-th anniversary of the tragedy, reported in the Embassy of Ukraine in the United States.

For today the famine in Ukraine is recognized as genocide in nine States: Washington, Wisconsin, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Oregon and Pennsylvania.
