Two hegumens from the Holy Mount Athos monasteries will come to Kyiv to attend the ceremony of enthronement of Metropolitan Epifaniy (Dumenko), Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, which will be held on February 3, CREDO PRESS reports citing the Greek church news agency Romfea.

As it was reported earlier, the Holy Kinot of Athos decided not to delegate the representatives to the enthronement of the Primate of the OCU. So the two hegumens will be part of the official delegation of the Ecumenical Patriarchate and thus will not represent the brotherhood of the Holy Mount Athos.

The names of the hegumens have not been made public yet.
