Two-volume book with Soviet Security Services Documents on Josyf Slipyj presented in Rome

On June 9 in the conference hall of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Cathedral of Saint Sophia in Rome the work of Professor of Shevchenko National University Volodymyr Serhiuchuk Patriarch Josyf Slipyj in Soviet Security Services Documents (1939-1987) was presented.

On June 9 in the conference hall of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Cathedral of Saint Sophia in Rome the work of Professor of Shevchenko National University Volodymyr Serhiuchuk Patriarch Josyf Slipyj in Soviet Security Services Documents (1939-1987) was presented, reports Radio Vatican.

It is the first publication of documents of the Soviet Security Services regarding the life and activity of the head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church. It was released as part of the Year of Josyf Slipyj, which is being celebrated to mark the 120th anniversary of his birth.
