UCU Donates Medical Equipment to Military Hospital

02.05.2022, 13:28

UCU has purchased three anaesthesia respirators for a military hospital that treats wounded Ukrainian service members. The total cost of medical equipment is UAH 1,250,000.

The building in which the hospital has been located since the beginning of the war has not been adapted for complex operations. Thanks to the support of philanthropists, it was possible to set up full-fledged operating rooms, UCU repots.

“Today, our hospital received three anesthetics from our benefactors, and it is a great joy for us, for which we are profoundly grateful. These devices are essential at the forefront of the treatment of our wounded soldiers. First of all, we will complete the hospital with them, which will be able to receive the wounded at a distance of 60-80 km from the front line, where they will provide full assistance and anesthesia. The surgeon will be able to perform abdominal and thoracic surgery efficiently, and the anesthesiologist will give modern full anesthesia“, said surgeon.

UCU is thankful for the help of the Metropolitan of Philadelphia of the UGCC in the United States and the President of UCU, the Archbishop-Metropolitan of Philadelphia, Bishop Borys Gudziak.

UCU thanks to everyone who supports Ukraine!
