UCU Vice-Rector Elected President of Ukrainian PEN Club

The vice rector for university mission of the Ukrainian Catholic University, Myroslav Marynovych, has been elected president of the Ukrainian branch of the International PEN Club.

The vice rector for university mission of the Ukrainian Catholic University (UCU), Myroslav Marynovych, has been elected president of the Ukrainian branch of the International PEN Club. The decision was unanimously passed at the general meeting of the Ukrainian PEN Club on 13 September 2010 at the Smoloskyp Publishing House, in Kyiv. So reported the Department of Information of UCU.  

The previous managers of the Ukrainian PEN Club, President Yevhen Sverstiuk and Vice-President Oksana Zabuzhko, reported on their activity.

The most urgent objectives of the new president is to develop and register the new statutes, stabilize membership, and intensify activity.

The PEN Club is an international non-governmental organization of professional writers, editors and translators.
