UGCC head thanks the Apostolic Nuncio for service to Ukrainian nation and UGCC

Patriarch Sviatoslav thanked Archbishop Thomas for his service, which was the most difficult in the modern history of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church in particular.

On September 24,Head of the UGCC, Patriarch Sviatoslav together with Bishop Joseph (Milian) and monastics visited Archbishop Thomas Edward Gullickson, Apostolic Nuncio, on the occasion of completion of his diplomatic service in Ukraine.

Patriarch Sviatoslav thanked Archbishop Thomas for his service, which was the most difficult in the modern history of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church in particular.

Head of the UGCC presented Apostolic Nuncio  with his portrait featuring “from the grateful Ukrainian people.”

In conclusion, the Apostolic Nuncio thanked Patriarch Sviatoslav from cooperation for the good of the Church, stressing that "these four years of service in the Ukraine were for him a gift from God ...” It was reported by the Information Department of the UGCC.
