Entry rules have been updated for foreign pilgrims. The Ministry of Health provided an explanation.

Censor.net reported this while citing the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

Pilgrims and stateless persons crossing the Ukrainian state border must have an insurance policy that covers the costs associated with COVID-19 treatment and observation. The insurance must be valid for the entire duration of your stay in Ukraine.

Foreign pilgrims must also hold one of the following documents:

- negative PCR test result for COVID-19 (issued no more than 72 hours before crossing the border);

- negative result of a rapid test for determining the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus antigen (obtained no more than 72 hours before crossing the border);

- a document confirming receipt of a full course of vaccination against COVID-19 with vaccines included in the WHO list;

- a foreign COVID certificate issued in the state with which Ukraine has concluded an agreement on mutual recognition of COVID certificates.

Otherwise, the person will not be allowed to cross the border. Also, pilgrims will be required to observe a social distance, a mask regime, and undergo temperature screening.

It should be noted that pilgrims began to arrive in Uman to celebrate the Jewish New Year (Rosh Ha-Shanah, this year it will begin on September 7).
