Ukraine's Ambassador Meets With Pope Francis

On March 22, Pope Francis received in the Apostolic Palace in the Vatican diplomats accredited by the Holy See. The participants included Ambassador of Ukraine to the Holy See Tetiana Izhevska.

On March 22, Pope Francis received in the Apostolic Palace in the Vatican diplomats accredited by the Holy See. The participants included Ambassador of Ukraine to the Holy See Tetiana Izhevska.

After the pope’s speech, the ambassador had a short conversation with him. Pope Francis greeted the ambassador with the Ukrainian Christian salutation “Glory to Jesus Christ!”

According to Radio Vatican, the ambassador wished the pope God’s blessing and successful service for the good of the church and humanity. She also expressed confidence that the good relations between Ukraine and the Holy See will continue to develop in a fruitful way.
