Ukraine’s President Viktor Yanukovych sent a greeting to Patriarch Kirill of Moscow on occasion of his birthday.
According to the presidential press service, the address says: “Your Beatitude, let me cordially greet You on the occasion of your birthday. Your unquenchable faith and diverse relentless activity in the name of the Lord and the Orthodox Church instill hope in the hearts of millions of the Orthodox people. Your Beatitude, please accept my sincere wishes of spiritual and physical strength, inexhaustible energy and God’s blessing for your actions.”
