KYIV — Ukraine’s President signed a law increasing the punishment for the crimes committed out of motives of racial, national, or religious intolerance. The Law “On Making Alterations to the Criminal Code of Ukraine” (regarding the responsibility for the crimes committed out of motives of racial, national, or religious intolerance) was passed by the Supreme Council on November 5, 2009.
