Deacon Vitaliy Osmolovsky TI from Zhytomyr, who is now studying at Berkeley (California, USA), took second place in the Judo championship of the USA (2017 USA Judo Senior National Championships). This was reported by the website of Jesuits in Ukraine.
The competitions were held in the category of sportsmen with a black belt (Master Black Belt Division) in Salt Lake City, Utah. Winning the final fight, Vitaliy missed a hack, and thus took the second place.
