Ukrainian Muslims to participate in international Quran competitions

Alraid believes the participation of Ukrainians in these competitions will strengthen Ukraine's prestige in the Muslim world.

This August the All-Ukrainian Association of Social Organizations Alraid will send two Ukrainian Muslims to prestigious international Quran competitions, which will be held during Ramadan in Egypt and the United Arab Emirates. Alraid believes that the participation of Ukrainians in these competitions will strengthen Ukraine's prestige in the Muslim world.

Fifteen-year-old Aider Akhmetov will represent Ukraine in Egypt’s annual Quran competition.

Seventeen-year-old Emir Kurtnezirov will participate in the annual 15th annual International Quran Reading Competition, which will take place in Dubai, UAE.
