‘Unum omnes’ is one of the 122 international organizations officially recognized by the Pontifical Council for the Laity. The Ukrainian member of ‘Unum omnes’ is the Foundation of St. Volodymyr (Lviv).
From September 25 to October 3, Vienna hosts the General Assembly of the international Catholic lay organization ‘Unum omnes’.The session is being attended by representatives from 16 countries of Europe and Africa. During the meeting the new organization leadership was elected. Eddie Prag from Ghana became a new president of the organization, replacing Nile Kennedy (Ireland) in office.
The representative of Ukraine Anatoly Babinski (chief editor of Patriarchate magazine and RISU editor), and Member of the Austrian Catholic men's movement Deacon PaulRottich were elected vice-presidents.
Background: ‘Unum omnes’ is an international lay organization that was founded in 1948 to consolidate the national Catholic men's movement, which aims to popularize and implement in daily life the teachings of the Catholic Church with a special emphasis on the social doctrine of the Church. ‘Unum omnes’facilitates contacts between the local member organizations in the work of evangelization and the establishment of new Catholic men's organizations, maintaining relationships with other international Catholicorganizations.

“Participation in international meetings is important not only for sharing ideas and searching for the answers on the topical issues of the day that Christians face. It is also a great opportunity to convey the information about the developments in Ukraine.
Last year, at the meeting in South Korea I had the opportunity to talk about the events of the Church and Maidan. This was followed by a very lively discussion, as people around the world receive very different information about events in our country. This was an opportunity to talk about what happened in our country during this past year and it was also very interesting for all participants,” Anatoliy Babinskyy told RISU.
