Ukrainians Trust Church the Most, Courts and Police the Least

As in previous years, today Ukrainians have the most trust in the church and the media, and the least trust in the parliament, the courts and the police.

These are the results of the SOCIS Center for Sociological and Marketing Research and sociological group Rating, the Institute for Religious Freedom reports.

According to the results, which were published December 25 at a press conference at Interfax- Ukraine, 64.3% of respondents trust the church to some extent, while 58.4% trust the media.

Meanwhile, 80.2% of respondents do not trust the parliament, 79.2% do not trust the courts, and 79% do not trust the police.

The study was conducted during the period December 7-17, 2013, 3,200 respondents over 18 years in all regions were interviewed. The margin of error is no more than 1.8%.
