On St. Nicholas Day, 19 December 2002, Patriarch Filaret (Denysenko) of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Kyivan Patriarchate (UOC-KP) participated in the presentation of a traditional Ukrainian nativity play at the United Nations Organization. This was done during his visit to the USA, which began on 18 and will finish on 24 December 2002.
During this visit, Patriarch Filaret will meet with the faithful of the Ukrainian Orthodox Vicariate of the UOC-KP and other representatives of the Ukrainian diaspora in the USA.
