UOC-KP to provide humanitarian aid to Donbass residents

On July 15, Patriarch of Kyiv and All Rus-Ukraine Filaret met with the Head of Luhansk Regional State Administration Iryna Verihina in the Synodal Hall of the Kyiv Patriarchate.

On July 15, Patriarch of Kyiv and All Rus-Ukraine Filaret met with the Head of Luhansk Regional State Administration Iryna Verihina in the Synodal Hall of the Kyiv Patriarchate.

During the meeting, the Primate met with the head of RSA the issues of the Kyiv Patriarchate’s situation in Luhansk. They also examined the possibility of providing humanitarian aid by the Kyiv Patriarchate to the residents of Donbass.

During the meeting the head of Luhansk region was accompanied by social activists and journalists from Donbass. The meeting was also attended by Bishop Afanasiy of Starobilsk and Luhansk, reported the press service of the Kyiv Patriarchate.
