As a result of the overnight shelling by Russian forces on July 17 and 18, UOC-MP churches in Kherson and Odessa have been affected.
This was reported by the Information and Educational Department of the UOC-MP.
During the night from July 16 to 17, the ancient church of the Kherson Diocese - Nativity of the Most Holy Mother of God (Greek-Sophia) - was once again damaged due to the enemy shelling of the city of Kherson.
On July 18, as a consequence of the overnight rocket shelling in Odessa, the UOC-MP Church of Saint Nicholas was affected. The church is located at the maritime terminal.
