UOC-MP Clergymen Organize Excursion in Kyiv Cave Monastery for Attachés of NATO Countries and Russia

Military attachés of the Embassies of Russia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Poland, and Italy, as well as representatives of Ukraine’s Armed Forces and police, visited the Kyiv Cave Monastery on May 15.

Military attachés of the Embassies of Russia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Poland, and Italy, as well as representatives of Ukraine’s Armed Forces and police, visited the Kyiv Cave Monastery on May 15, the website of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate (UOC-MP) reports.

Head of the UOC-MP Synod Department of Cooperation with Armed Forces of Ukraine, Archbishop Avhustyn (Markevych) of Bila Tserkva and Bohuslav, conducted a thanksgiving prayer service in the Assumption Monastery.

After that, together with the superior of the monastery, Metropolitan Pavlo (Lebed) of Vyshhorod and Chornobyl, he conducted an excursion in the Kyiv Cave Monastery.

In the end, the visitors were addressed by the administrator of the UOC-MP, Metropolitan Antonii (Pakanych) of Boryspil.
