At the Arbat Cultural Center, Gennady Shkil, a Kherson priest of the UOC-MP who defected to Russia and calls himself an “online missionary,” stated that even Halychyna will not be spared from the war.
This was reported by the Telegram channel Christians Against War.
According to Shkil, people from Ivano-Frankivsk who join his streams “say that there are many adequate people waiting for the Russians.” The priest did not specify why he called said people adequate.
“I hope that one day we will get together to celebrate the first liberation of Ukraine from the German fascist invaders, and the same year, we will gather to celebrate the second liberation of Ukraine.”
As reported previously, in October 2024, the Security Service of Ukraine brought more serious charges against the priest of Hola Prystan, Hennadiy Shkil, of the UOC-MP.
