UOC-MP Marks 20th Anniversary of Kharkiv Council

On 27 May, in the eastern Ukrainian city of Kharkiv, celebratory events were held to mark the 20th anniversary of the Kharkiv Hierarchical Council of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate (UOC-MP) and the primate’s ministry of Metropolitan Volodymyr (Sabodan).

UNІАN learnt from the press-service of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration that a celebratory service was conducted in the cathedral of the Holy Annunciation.
11 bishops from allover Ukraine came to attend the events.
The liturgy was celebrated by Metropolitan Lazar of Simferopol and the Crimea.
