The priests of the Russian Orthodox Church in Ukraine decided to revive the tourism business in Crimea which fell into decline after the Russian occupation. In addition to visiting the Orthodox churches and monasteries of Crimea, believers are also offered to relax at the sea. Relevant advertisements about the "pilgrimage to Crimea" were placed near the churches of the UOC MP in Ternopil region.

As is known, the Church of the Moscow Patriarchate in annexed Crimea is led by the native of Kremenets district, Metropolitan Lazar (Shvets) of Simferopol and Crimea, which closely cooperates with Russian occupation authorities. For his services to the invaders, Archbishop Lazar even got a watch from the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin in May this year.
