An international jubilee convention “Heritage of Soberness of the Holy Martyr Volodymyr Bogoiavlenskyi for Modern Society” is held in Kyiv on occasion of the 100th anniversary of the anti-alcohol convention of 1912.
An international jubilee convention “Heritage of Soberness of the Holy Martyr Volodymyr Bogoiavlenskyi for Modern Society” is held in Kyiv on occasion of the 100th anniversary of the anti-alcohol convention of 1912.
The event is attended by representatives of nearly all the eparchies of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate and also of the Russian and Belarusian Orthodox Churches.
According to the web site of UOC-MP, 60 persons arrived to participate in the event.
The convention is organized by the Synodal Department of UOC-MP on Youth Work and St. Volodymyr’s Brotherhood “Soberness” of UOC-MP.
