The meeting was focused on “gross violation of the rights of believers of the UOC (MP) that occurred during the past year,” the Information Department has reported.

Clergymen of the UOC (MP), in particular, complained to foreigners of the seizure of churches - they counted 40 of such cases, refusal of registration of their statutes and the lack of information on the results of the investigation into the murder of the priest Roman Nikolaev and nun Alevtina (Kravchuk).

Note that in recent years the clergymen the UOC MP have regularly complained to international organizations of persecution, which they are experiencing in Ukraine for their confession.
