Up to 30,000 Hasidim to visit Uman

A meeting to prepare for the pilgrimage to ensure the Hasidim access to the grave of the tzaddik Bratslav Nachman was chaired by the deputy head of the Cherkasy regional state administration, Yurii Tymoshenko, URA-inform reports.

A detailed plan for the reception of pilgrims in September has already been developed. The analysis of resettlement places Hasidim. Now Uman can provide housing for about 30 thousand pilgrims (12 thousand in the private sector, 8 thousand in high-rise buildings, 5 thousand in campsites, and 5 thousand in local hotels and Megometr).

Additional garbage containers will be placed around the city. A large number of police officers will be patroling the area.
