Visit of the Patriarch of Jerusalem to the Archbishop of Athens

Patriarch Theophilos of Jerusalem paid an official visit to Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and all of Greece on Monday, November 29, 2021.

The Patriarch was accompanied by the Exarch of the Holy Sepulcher Archimandrite Raphael Grivas and his associates, while also present were, the Chief Secretary of the Holy Synod of the Church of Greece, Bishop Filotheos of Oreoi, the Protosyncellus of the Archdiocese Arch. Barnabas Theocharis, the Deputy General Hierarchical Vicar Arch. Eugenios Pantzaridis and Directors of services of the Archdiocese.

During their meeting, the Patriarch and the Archbishop referred to the issue of the pandemic and the course of vaccination, while the Patriarch referred to the difficulties prevailing in Jerusalem and the need to observe all protection measures against the spread of the coronavirus.
