Ukrainian youth first took part in World Youth Day in 1991.
Due to the initiative of the Youth Commission of the Ukrainain Greek Catholic Church, there is now a Ukrainian version of the official website of World Youth Day. Ukrainian youth will easily find out how to join the meeting with Pope Benedict XVI in Madrid in 2011. The WYD program includes prayer, catechesis, festivals, concerts, performances, tours and more. Previously, this information was only available in Spanish, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Polish.
