Mobile groups of the Moscow Patriarchate -- with so-called physical protection units that do not allow believers to exercise their will -- are currently criss crossing Ukraine.

MP of Ukraine (People's Front) Viktor Yelensky said this on ZIK TV-Channel.

Commenting on the situation with the switch of allegiance of religious communities to the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, the MP said that he had evidence that representatives of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate brought “athletic people” and large groups of priests to several communities. These people put pressure on local residents and prevented them from exercising their will. Viktor Yelensky stressed that any interference is unacceptable.

At the same time, the MP emphasized that now it is important to ensure non-interference of Russia in church affairs in Ukraine.

"I want to say that there are mobile groups of the Moscow Patriarchate traveling across our country with so-called physical protection units that prevent believers from exercising their will,” Viktor Yelensky said.

The MP noted that the he will submit the evidence of such facts to the National Police.
