During a meeting in Lviv with Polish President Andrzej Duda and Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda, President Volodymyr Zelensky presented them with unique icons.
This is reported by ArtArmor.
Icon painter Andrey Ohotsky wrote two works on armor plates specifically for Andrzej Duda and Gitanas Nausėda as part of the ArtArmor project. We are referring to the icons of St. George the Dragon Slayer with flags and coats of arms of Poland and Lithuania.
"We are grateful to the chairman of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, for handing them over on our behalf.
We believe that the exclusive items of our exhibition will find their rightful place in the museums of Poland and Lithuania, and also encourage Polish and Lithuanian artists to participate in the creation of other exhibits," ArtArmor notes.
