Journalists showed a rural estate of the scandal abbot of Kyiv Caves Lavra, Metropolitan Pavloof Vyshgorod and Chernobyl.
A huge house is located in the village of Voronkiv in Kyiv, TSN reports.
Apart from the main building there is a guest house. In the neighborhood there is a “little house” of former monastery treasurer Varsonofiy.
Reporters found that CosyHouse company, which constructed these “monastic cells”for them, was involved in the restoration of the monastery.
“They built two houses in the village of Voronkivfor Metropolitan Pavlo and now Metropolitan Varsonofiy. It was also a kind of donationon the part of the construction company. It is the reliable information received directly from the company head,” says former deputy director of "TroitskaArtil”KorneliyBorysov.
He (the Metropolitan) also owns a huge farm in the same village near the luxurious residence. He says that it is intended for the purposes of Lavra. Hundreds of cows and pigs yield millions of profit. Workers do not hide that apart from the monastery, the milk is being sold to private traders for the dairy plant, as reported by Gazeta.ua.
