UCU graduate and coordinator of the Volunteer Center, recounted how the university’s team has united to help refugees and support soldiers on the front.

“It is very important that we learn lessons from this war. For the future peace depends on whether we have learned these lessons: that parents talk about these events to their children and what values we will follow in the process of re-building Ukraine,” stated Larisa Galadza.

The UCU community was glad to greet Larisa Galadza within the walls of the university; she is daughter of Fr. Roman Galadza and his wife Irene, who are great, longtime friends of the university. Fr. Roman is a well-known Greek-Catholic priest from Canada, whose church and community in Brampton near Toronto can be considered exemplary for North American lands.

Fr. Roman and Irene have been close to the UCU community since the very beginning. Larisa Galadza at UCU We recall that last year Larisa was the keynote speaker at the UCU commencement.
